Halloween is one of those holidays full of color and creativity. Whether you are carving pumpkins, playing in fallen leaves, walking along an autumn-colored path, trying on costumes, applying makeup or sharing a cozy moment by the fire, photo opportunities abound. For fun, try having a "photo shoot" at a local park with your kids in their costumes. Too cute!
Keeping your cameras charged, or loaded with film is critical to being able to capture those special moments. Be prepared. You might want to have one cabinet by the door that houses everything you need when you are "on the go."
Teenagers in the house? Give them a camera anytime they will be with friends. They don't need a special occasion to take pictures. Just give them the equipment, any place works (focus around a car, or put on some of their favorite music and let them snap away), just being together is reason enough for them to celebrate
A wonderful new way to share your photos with family and friends is a service called Smilebox. With Smilebox you can create page-turning books with music and captions that can be posted to a website, emailed to a friend or printed in hard copy. The choice is yours. There are many templates to choose from and they are developing more daily.
This program works with both PC and Mac computers (yeah!) and automatically makes your iPhoto library available to Smilebox.
I am excited to make this available to you and your family. Teenagers are going to love using this program to share their stories with all of their friends.
